John L. Colaizzi, Jr.

Dr. John L Colaizzi, Jr received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University. A licensed pharmacist in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Illinois, Dr. Colaizzi is currently employed as Pharmacy Supervisor for Walgreens in New Jersey.

He is a certified consultant pharmacist, a practicing immunizing pharmacist, and Adjunct Faculty at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University.

He serves on Duramed Pharmaceutical’s Plan B® CARES Program Pharmacy Advisory Board, the Touro College of Pharmacy Dean’s Network Council, and is a Member of the Rho Chi pharmacy honor society. He is the recipient of the 2007 New Jersey Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year Award and the 2009 NCPA Pharmacy Leadership Award.

Dr. Colaizzi has served on the NJPhA Board of Trustees, Membership and Government Affairs committees, is past-Vice President, and chaired the association’s 2009 annual convention. He is currently President of the New Jersey Pharmacists Association.
